The learning so far in this week is very enhancing as it imparts the knowledge on the most important thing that is the difference between necessity and luxury. The definition of the privilege is elaborated and sometimes we ignore the basic things and deny calling it as privilege but we are privileged. The materials I have viewed like “The Complexity of Identity: Who Am I” by Beverley Daniel Tatum, has triggered some kinds of questions on my own personality. The different questions I have been facing in my life since I have migrated to the United States such as the belonging in the community. There has been always a kind of insecurity or intimidation in the different cultural background. But with the passage of time we have been accustomed with it. Like I have managed my journey here and I am well aware of my position and have the clear standpoint of the other Americans in my society.
